Max's Candles was born out of a genuine passion for mindful living and warm home atmospheres. From my home, each candle is carefully measured, blended with premium fragrance oils, and poured by hand in small batches to guarantee exceptional quality and an even, soothing glow.
The power of plant-based soy wax
I deliberately chose vegetable soy wax over petroleum-derived paraffin. Derived from natural soybean oil, the wax is renewable, biodegradable, and non-toxic. It burns up to 90 percent cleaner with virtually no black soot, ensuring a safer atmosphere for you, your family, and your home.
Vegan friendly and cruelty-free

The natural benefits of soy wax
Unlike petroleum-based paraffin, soy wax is a vegetable wax derived purely from the oil of soybeans. It is completely natural, non-toxic, and biodegradable. Free from animal products, my candles are proudly vegan friendly and offer a truly gentle presence in any living space.
A cleaner, longer burn
Soy wax burns cooler and slower than conventional paraffin, extending your candle's lifespan so you can savour your favourite scents for longer. Crucially, it creates up to 90 percent less soot, maintaining cleaner indoor air and pristine walls while gently releasing delicate fragrance oils.
Essential care for the perfect burn
To prevent tunnelling, allow the wax pool to reach the edges of the jar on the first light. Always trim your cotton wick to approximately 5mm before every lighting to ensure an even flame and minimise smoking. Keep lit candles away from drafts and never leave them unattended.
